Land commission made wrong decision

I am very sad to see the Stomp cancelled for this year. The ALR committee did not make a good choice in refusing to let them use land that has not been farmed in at least 10 years. Many agencies will suffer because they will not receive much-needed donations.

I do believe prejudice and preconceived notions were in play in their decision.  If the ALR had done their homework, they would have seen that the Stomp has always left the property they have used in better condition than what they received it in. If not for the Stomp committee, there would not be a usable Silver Creek Park – it would now be just scrub and bush.  So, I say thank you  to the Stomp committee, you have my full support. We will see you next year!
