It’s about that beaver story that ran a few weeks ago in the Salmon Arm Observer; I saw a documentary on the beaver problem in Quebec.
A guy discovered that beavers dam up anything that has running water sounds so he put a series of metal stakes about 10 or 15 feet in front of the culvert. The beavers placed their dam material on the stakes, as that is where more of the running water sounds were coming from – leaving the culvert unplugged. Far better than removing material every day only to be replaced at night.
