Salmon Arm Tennis Club makes its mark

During the weekend of Feb. 17-19, two indoor tennis tournaments took place in B.C.’s interior.  At the Kamloops Tennis Centre, the Leaman Mixed Doubles event hosted 23 teams from around B.C. Salmon Arm’s Bob Langford teamed up with Debbie Hoffman from Kamloops to take second place in the Mixed Doubles A event.  In Kelowna, Global Fitness Centre hosted 17 teams. After competing in six matches, Salmon Arm Tennis Club members Doug Rawson and Marianne VanBuskirk clinched third place in the 4.0 Mixed Doubles event.

Both tournaments hosted competitors who demonstrated a high calibre of play.
