Former Penticton Vees Tyson Jost and Dante Fabbro are among 42 players invited to Canada’s National Junior Team Sport Chek Summer Development camp in Plymouth, Mich. July 29 to Aug. 5.

Only Fabbro attended the camp as Jost was unable to.

In a By the Numbers feature by Hockey Canada, the team has nine returning players, including Jost and Fabbro, which helped Canada earn silver in Montreal and Toronto. Jost is also among 11 players who have been captain for Canada before. Jost, who joined the Colorado Avalanche late last season from the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks, led Canada West to gold in the 2015 World Junior A Challenge and won bronze at the 2016 IIHF U18 World Championship.

In Fabbro’s first season with Boston University, he scored five goals and added 11 assists in 31 games. He was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the first round, 17th overall in 2016.
