The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women’s basketball team downed the Mount Royal University Cougars in Kamloops last weekend. Friday’s game marked the regular season swan song for the ’Pack’s lone fifth-year guard, Jorri Duxbury.

The ’Pack closed out their last home games of the regular season with a convincing 84-56 win on Friday and a 69-59 win on Saturday. Duxbury led the scoring for TRU with 15 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals in last Friday’s win. The wins also sealed the ’Pack’s first ever Explores Division title.
