Construction continues at the SmartCentres site, with two new businesses set to open soon and sooner. Opening shortly is Jiffy Lube, which offers car maintenance services such as oil changes and vehicle inspections.
“They expect to open in the next week or so,” said Sandra Kaiser, vice-president of corporate affairs for SmartCentres.
Kaiser said the Bulk Barn is expected to open in early September. The Bulk Barn describes itself as Canada’s largest bulk food store and bulk candy retailer. It carries 4,000 products ranging from pet food to coffee, to baking ingredients, to vitamins and herbal supplements.
