Colleen Rempel, president of the Salmon Arm Spiritualist Church board, far right, presents donations to a number of local charities, including from left, Maxine Kaszas from the Women’s Emergency Shelter, Dianna Mangold from Second Harvest, Luke Gubbels from Shuswap Search and Rescue, Violet Pilkington from the Sicamous Food Bank and Judy Evans from Shuswap Hospice. The Shuswap Branch of the SPCA also received a donation. The Spiritualist Church of Salmon Arm, an organization that is completely volunteer-run, makes financial donations each year to charities chosen by its board.
