Two sports groups in the Shuswap will benefit from taxpayer funding in the form of Community Gaming Grants

Two sports groups in the Shuswap will benefit from taxpayer funding in the form of Community Gaming Grants from the Ministry of Community, Sport, and Cultural Development.

The  Larch Hills Nordic Society was awarded  $20,000, and the Shuswap Pony Club was awarded $1,600

“These organizations are helping entertain people through the arts, keep us active in sport, and teach the values of horsemanship,” stated Shuswap MLA Greg Kyllo in a news release. “These grants are significant and help groups like these continue their fantastic work.”

Across British Columbia, 42 recipients are sharing $1.3 million in the latest rounds of grants.
