Local non-profit groups are invited to get their submissions in for the Salmon Arm Observer’s Guide to Giving.

This is a free service offered by the newspaper for the holiday season, which allows charitable and community groups the opportunity to raise awareness about their organization, its benefits and, most importantly, provide a way for the community at large to support local groups during the upcoming season of Christmas giving.

Many citizens would like to help others, but may be unsure about where to make a contribution.

The Observer’s Guide to Giving is designed to offer suggestions for donations or volunteer contributions.

If your group would like to make a submission, it must be emailed to newsroom@saobserver.net no later than 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26.

Submissions must be a maximum of 200 words.
