Mountain bikes were central to a weekend of family fun and friendly competition in Salmon Arm.
About 500 mountain-bike riders were at the South Canoe trails Sunday, May 14, for the annual Salty Dog Enduro. Junior cyclists were also present to take on the Lil’ Pups and Salty Pups rides.
The kick-off to the Enduro, the annual Salty Dog Street Fest, was held Saturday on Hudson Avenue in conjunction with the Downtown Salmon Arm Farmers’ Market. The street fest brought live music to the downtown, various bike reps, fun and games and the popular pie eating contest.
