Running for Fun

New fundraising event on the roster: NOCLS 24-hour Fun Run

A major fundraiser aimed at making a difference for those living in our community is shaking things up to have a whole lot of fun.

The North Okanagan Community Life Society will host the inaugural 24-hour Fun Run – starting Friday, May 12 at 5 p.m. and wrapping up on Saturday, May 13 at 5 p.m.

Teams of 10 will come together for 24 hours of physical activity at the Vernon Curling Rink – all while having a fun time.

Each team member (required to raise $200) gets fed dinner, breakfast and lunch, will be sporting a complimentary Fun Run T-shirt (and a costume – which is encouraged), and a smile all day, and night.
