The competition was heavy, with more than 1,800 entries.
But Bastion Elementary student Zachary Watkins prevailed in the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association colouring contest to win first prize in the ages 6 to 9 division.
He won a prize package including a gift card to Toys R Us and an oral health kit.
