Shuswap Middle School students and teachers collected 22,581 beverage containers and earned $1,149.99 in deposit refunds. Ranchero Elementary recovered 3,102 plastic, aluminum and gable top beverage containers and received $156.27 in deposit refunds. Both schools took part in the Encorp BC School Recycling Program during the 2011/2012 school year.
