Haney issues call for actors

R.J. Haney Heritage Village and Museum, plans to hire four actor/interpreters for this season’s production

R.J. Haney Heritage Village and Museum, plans to hire four actor/interpreters for this season’s production of Villains and Vittles Dinner Theater.

Auditions will take place at 4 p.m. Monday, May 2 in Marjorie’s Tea Room at the village.

Take your resumes with a head shot and references to the audition and be prepared to put your talents in acting, singing, dancing or playing a musical instrument to work.

The interpreter/actor works with the general manager and visitor services department supporting the day-to-day operation of the village and museum, greeting visitors and leading interpretive tours of the site while sharing its fascinating history.

Successful candidates assist in educational programs, promotion of site interpretation and the Village’s activities as well as depict local history as an actor in the live performances of the dinner theatre production three nights per week during the months of July and August.
