The Ross Street Stage will play host to plenty of free live music in July and August.

The Ross Street Stage will play host to plenty of free live music in July and August.

Three separate concert series will ensure there are plenty of opportunities to catch some live music on the stage throughout the month.

Jazz at the Plaza will be bringing jazz acts to the stage every second Tuesday night from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The first Jazz at the Plaza show will be Green Room on July 7.

The lineup for the rest of the summer will be:

July 21 - Three Squared

Aug. 4 - Sunday’s Cool

Aug. 18 - Tanya Lipscomb.

The Lunch Box Stage series will be a great opportunity to enjoy the sunshine and some live music over lunch with shows running from 12:30 to 1:30 on Friday afternoons.

The opening act on the Lunch Box Stage will be folk singer Lowell Friesen on July 8. After Friesen, the weekly concerts will feature:

July 15- Mellowtones

July 22 - Jordan Dick and Bill Lockie

July 29 - Darren Herting

Aug. 5 - Green Room

Aug. 12 - Kiki the Eco Elf

Aug. 19 - Duet

Aug. 26 - Something Nice.

Another weekly series, Saturday Night Live will feature weekly shows from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The first show of the series will be the Willy Gaw Quintet on July 2 followed by the Salmon Arm Stompers, a jazz quartet, on July 9. The remaining Saturday night live acts will be:

July 16- Lindsay May

July 23- Kyle Fitzpatrick

Juy 30- Duet

Aug. 6 -Darlene Ketchum Quartet

Aug. 13 - Liberty

Aug. 20- Roots & Blues - no show

Aug. 27- Flowshine.
