The Arts Council for the South Shuswap took Best Float Overall in the South Shuswap Canada Day festivities. Arty, the larger-than-life artist, parades with the kids who tie-dyed their shirts and took part in the construction of the float under the direction of summer camp instructor Darby Arens. Summer camps run for the next six weeks out of the Arts Council.
