Soirée planed to support heritage village restoration

R.J. Haney Heritage Village and Museum and Chef Rob Sengotta, chef and owner of Shuswap Chefs, are partnering for the seventh annual “Soirée an Evening at Haney with the Shuswap Chefs” on Thurday, August 4.

Seating is limited to 80 guests and tickets for this fund raising event are $110.

Tax receipts for $60 will be distributed with  each ticket purchased.

The evening starts with cocktails, hors d’ oeuvres and a silent auction at 4 p.m. in the Heritage Village.

Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. with a five-course feast personally prepared by Sengotta.

The dinner will be paired with wine and beer donated by Ovino Winery, Larch Hill Winery, Recline Ridge Winery, Sunnybrae Vineyards and Winery and Crannog Ales.

Entertaining at this elegant event is Peter Clark, a local musician and friend to R.J. Haney Heritage Village.

The Soirée supports the extraordinary projects, restorations and operations of the Heritage Village.

Event organizers describe the event as a charming evening of music, food and fun.
