Spring dances into Notch Hill

Spring was welcomed to Notch Hill on April 13. A total of 60 people socialized and learned new Scottish country-dance routines.

Scottish country dancers are piped in for a successful ceilidh held at the Notch Hill Community Centre.

Spring was welcomed to Notch Hill  on April 13.

Wendy Dean and the Sorrento Scottish Country Dancers, Highland Dancers from Salmon Arm and the Kamloops Dancers filled the hall with energy, fun and many new dancing steps.

Stan McLeod piped in the dancers dressed in colourful Scottish dress and MC Bill Pobuda kept the music flowing onstage.

A total of 60 people socialized and learned new Scottish country- dance routines.

A special thank you goes to Wendy Dean, the dancers and everyone who attended and participated and Albert Hepworth for taking photos. Appreciation also goes to members of the fundraising event planning committee of the Notch Hill Town Hall Association. Proceeds of this fundraiser will go towards insulating the hall and organizers look forward to  seeing  people back soon.
