The King's Christian Senior Girl's basketball team has been hooping it up with a "very strong season," according to head coach Cristie Jansen.
The team, which consists of players in Grades 9 to 12 has lost just one game this season and is currently ranked sixth in the province at the "A" level. They are the No .1 seed in the Thompson-Okanagan.
King's will be hosting the Single 'A' Okanagan Valley Championships next week, with the tournament starting Thursday, Feb. 13 and running to Saturday, Feb. 15, with the team's first game tipping off at 12 p.m. on opening day.
Teams that place in the top two of the Valley Championships will advance to the Provincial Championships that will be held from Feb. 26 to March 1 in Langley.
