BC United Leader Kevin Falcon will join former Oliver mayor and BC United candidate Ron Hovanes in Oliver to talk health care.

The public discussion will be held at the Oliver Legion Hall on May 22 starting at 2 p.m.

The focus of the meeting is on the difficulties facing the healthcare system, particularly in the South Okanagan.

Residents have become particularly familiar with those difficulties due to the regular closures of the South Okanagan General Hospital’s emergency department due to staffing shortages.

The discussion is free and open to all members of the public interested in talking about the challenges of the healthcare system.
