Burns light up Mt. Ida

Forestry companies are engaging in resource burning, getting rid of debris that could fuel wildfires in fire season

There’s fire on the mountains, but no reason for concern.

Large fires at the southern summit of Mt. Ida last Wednesday night sparked many calls. But Pepper says there are well over 40 active industrial burn registrations in place and conditions last week were good for venting smoke.
