My number-one priority for Chase is small business. We must create incentives for both businesses and consumers. I’d like to see a one-time, annual tax-exemption program for businesses to reinvest within and help them continue to grow. I’ve seen far too many businesses shut their doors and this is a community issue that needs direct attention. The improvements of buildings, signage, etc. in our downtown will also contribute to the development and growth in Chase. I’d also like to see a “support-local” campaign created for citizens, which will result in more dollars being spent in Chase.
