One of the hopefuls for the federal Conservative leadership is coming to the North Okanagan-Shuswap.
Lisa Raitt will be at Vernon's Schubert Centre Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The event is hosted by the North Okanagan-Shuswap Conservative Association.
An Ontario MP, Raitt served as minister of transport, labour and natural resources in the former Conservative governent. She was the party's finance critic until stepping aside to seek the leadership.
