Council drops question period until after municipal elections

City council voted Monday to suspend the question and answer period until after the Nov. 19 municipal election.

“It tends to become a soap box for people,” remarked Mayor Marty Bootsma.

Coun. Ken Jamieson was alone in opposing the move.
