Highway 1 is closed in both directions in Sorrento due to a vehicle incident.
DriveBC is reporting the highway is closed between Little River Road and Des Fosses Road.
The collision happened just after 3 p.m., Tuesday.
Emergency crews are on scene and drivers should watch for personnel on the road.
There is no detour available and motorists should expect major delays due to the incident.
It’s unclear what caused the crash or how many vehicles are involved, at this time.
