We have a larger population than Chase or Grand Forks for that matter and approximately one-half the population of Salmon Arm, yet we have not one major recreational centre or medical facility.
All of us have to travel to Salmon Arm, some of us more than once a day.
It is a costly, time-consuming and sometimes dangerous commute that needs to change. Parents and caregivers deserve a break.
