There are many issues in Area C that could be addressed. Business and tourism, infrastructure upgrades, parks and recreation, our environment and of course Shuswap Lake. None of that will matter if we do not have a healthy lake and a clean water supply. As long as commercial development continues on the foreshore where water quality is at its poorest the lake deteriorates.
We need to work with the other areas to reduce commercial development on and around Shuswap Lake. An increase in green development and upgrading aging infrastructure would be a good beginning for Shuswap Lake to start healing.
