Communities throughout this electoral area are facing a reduction of services and in some cases facing a complete loss of key institutions, like Silver Creek Elementary School. Just this week we learned that one of our libraries is slated for cuts and one is facing pressure to close. With no public transit and driving times to larger urban centres being up to 45 minutes, seniors and families with young children depend on having these facilities in town. I will fight to ensure these services stay in our communities and I will advocate bringing much-needed health care services to our area.
