I’ve noticed a gap, as have others in the area, in the way information flows between the community and the regional district. People want to be informed and they want to know their experiences count. That is realistic and possible.
I want to help change the way our communities get involved in the decision-making process. Whether I’m advocating on social media, organizing letter-writing campaigns urging better funding for our education system, or volunteering on a federal election campaign, the best way I can see to be a part of this change is to get involved in the process.
