After weeks of delays for road and sidewalk upgrading along Shuswap Street SW between the SASCU Downtown Activity Centre and the new school board office, motorists were happy to see the work come to an end.
But when traffic barricades went up again next to the school board office this week, eyebrows were raised. However, the city explains the digging up of a patch of new sidewalk is not related to the work done earlier this fall. Fortis BC has been repairing a gas connection at the location.
