A 53-year-old Salmon Arm man is facing charges of impaired driving after running off the road and smashing into a tree on Feb. 19. Police were called out at 8 p.m. to a single-vehicle collision near the intersection of 5th Street SE and 9th Ave SE. The RCMP officers found the man to be intoxicated and have recommended criminal charges.
