At approximately 1 a.m., Aug. 9, police arrested a man on Lakeshore Drive NE for impersonation, breach of probation and obstruction. The male, who was initially stopped for a traffic violation, was found to be driving with no licence or insurance. He then provided a false name. A subsequent investigation revealed his correct identity. He was found to be on probation and is charged with offences out of Alberta. The 51-year-old was arrested and faces a court date.
