Fire crews take on blaze west of Enderby

Enderby Fire Department joined by members of B.C. Wildfire Service to fight blaze west of city that broke out after lunch Tuesday.

Enderby Fire Department, with help from the B.C. Wildfire Service, is attending to a fire west of Enderby on Twin Lakes Road.

According to a spokesperson from the B.C. Wildfire Service’s Kamloops Fire Centre, the local department asked for help – including a helitanker ­– to fight the fire.

Four members of the B.C. Wildfire Service were dispatched to the scene to help the local fire department.
