Immigrants: Who Needs Them? is the title of a public forum to take place Wednesday, Oct. 5, 7:30 p.m. in room 201 at Okanagan College in Salmon Arm.
Hosted by the Shuswap Inclusion Project, the evening will focus on the historic and contemporary contribution of immigrants to nation building and economic wealth. Panel members will include Chris Clarkson, history instructor; Tina Marten, PhD sociology candidate and Ian Hesselden, Salmon Arm Safeway manager.
