Salmon Arm RCMP received a report that unknown suspects had attempted to steal a hearse parked on the 4000 block of First Avenue SW. The vehicle, a black 1990 Chevrolet was for sale and was parked at the side of a funeral home when it was entered and the ignition was tampered with. The vehicle was not stolen but was damaged in the attempt.
