Beacon Underwriting has been named one of the top managing general agents (MGA) in the entire Canadian insurance business.
Beacon is named in Insurance Business Canada’s latest Five-Star MGAs report.
The report is the result of a survey of hundreds of insurance brokers nationwide which determined the top-performing MGAs in terms of premium pricing, range of carriers offered, underwriting responsiveness and turnaround time.
“We asked brokers to rate their MGAs in several key areas and the results are encouraging,” said Heather Turner of Insurance Business Canada. “MGA performance vastly improved from last year with six scoring a five-star in every category, a huge step up from only one MGA receiving five-star marks across the board last year.”
Beacon is one of six MGAs to get top marks from brokers across the board, earning a five-star rating in all seven recorded categories. Twenty MGAs achieved five-star status in one or more categories.
