Chase and area residents will have access to emergency service today as usual.
Interior Health advises that physician coverage has been secured and the Chase Health Centre Emergency Department is open during regular hours of operation.
Emergency Department services operate Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Health Centre and emergency department will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
During the hours the emergency department is closed, residents should take note of the following:
- In the event of an emergency, call 9-1-1.
- For non-urgent matters, residents may wish to use the emergency departments or walk-in clinics
in Kamloops or Salmon Arm.
- If individuals are unsure about what services they require, call HealthLink BC at 8-1-1.
The toll-free line provides 24-hour, confidential health information and advice from a registered nurse.
