Liberal Greg Kyllo declared elected

Political pundits have declared Greg Kyllo elected in the Shuswap riding.
BC Liberal embraces his daughter Samantha while he listens to some of the results at his campaign headquarters in downtown Salmon Arm.

With 55 polls reporting, the Liberal Greg Kyllo's lead is enough to declare him elected in the Shuswap riding.

Kyllo will continue the Liberal trend in the Shuswap riding, which has been held since 1996 by the BC Liberal Party, previously with MLA George Abbott.

The Shuswap has voted for the NDP three times in the past, but has otherwise supported right-wing parties.

Greg Kyllo - 5,105

Steve Gunner - 2,711
