Yes, I support the Ross Street underpass.
The current Official Community Plan (OCP) recognizes CP Rail as a major transportation route through town and as such that it can limit traffic movement. The OCP says there is a need for a grade separated crossing which accommodates motor vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians.
I believe safe and unrestricted access to Marine Park businesses and homes is an important consideration for our community. The city’s five-year strategic and financial plans show the Ross Street underpass project scheduled for 2019 with zero tax increase.
