As you know, since 2008 we have come through some tough economic times. In the past three years, our local economy has started moving forward.
We have made significant inroads in the right direction and I will continue to support and prioritize projects that provide sustainable growth in Salmon Arm.
One of these projects is our new downtown college campus, made possible by a generous donation of a 20-acre site. With an agricultural focus, this project will diversify our economy and bring vibrancy and jobs, community gardens and greenhouses, sidewalks and trails, all which promote a healthy lifestyle.
