Meakes received the Rites of Ordination of the Spiritualist Church of Salmon Arm after being a member of the church for 16 years and an active ministerial candidate for the past three. The Spiritualist Church of Salmon Arm was chartered on Jan. 10, 1997 and services are held each Sunday morning at 11 a.m. All are welcome.
