School District #83 is starting the school year with a new secretary-treasurer.
Nicole Bittante has accepted the position of secretary-treasurer for School District #83.
Bittante was previously employed in Saanich (School District #63) where she was the director of finance responsible for financial planning, budget development and overall financial administration of the district.
Previous to her work in Saanich she held a number of positions with the Ministry of Health including roles in audit and investigations, capital services and accounting and reporting.
Bittante replaces Sterling Olson, who accepted a position with the Vernon school district during the summer.
