Parking lot lease renewed

The lease agreement for the Inner Core Parking lot has been extended to Dec. 31, 2019.

The lease is with W.H. Laird Holdings, formerly 151 Hudson Holdings Ltd., which gets 50 per cent of the annual revenue.

City staff note the city has been leasing the property at 327 Alexander St. NE from Bill Laird since 2010 and operating it as a Downtown Parking Commission parking lot, under the same revenue agreement.
