Police were kept busy on the night of Dec. 8 policing an all-ages rave that occurred at the Elks Hall in Salmon Arm. Police responded to several calls to the rave, which was touted as an alcohol and drug-free event. But police report they found youths in various degrees of alcohol and drug impairment. Police also located an uninsured vehicle at the event which was towed from the scene.
With the holiday season in full swing, the Salmon Arm RCMP remind people to plan ahead and arrange for transportation if you plan on drinking. Check stops are planned throughout the holiday season.
