Salmon Arm realtor faces additional charges

Two more charges have been added to the one Salmon Arm realtor Victor Keith Chancellor was already facing.

The newest charges are two counts of improper storage of a firearm.

Chancellor is already facing charges of criminal harassment and the unusual Criminal Code charge of counselling another person to commit a criminal offence, where the offence is not committed.

He will next appear in Salmon Arm Provincial Court on April 12 to answer the new charges and consult with counsel on the four previous counts.

The criminal harassment charges are in regards to Chancellor allegedly harassing a man and a woman between Sept. 4, 2009 and Jan. 4, 2011.

The charges also refer to Chancellor allegedly counselling another person to commit extortion and assault against the same victims during the time between March 2010 and May 2010.

The other person in question did not carry out any criminal offence.
