Victor Keith Chancellor made a first appearance in Salmon Arm Provincial Court on Feb. 15, where his case was put over until March 1.

The criminal harassment charges are in regards to Chancellor allegedly harassing a man and a woman between Sept. 4, 2009 and Jan. 4, 2011.

The charges also refer to Chancellor allegedly counselling another person to commit extortion and assault against the same victims during the time between March 2010 and May 2010.

The other person in question did not carry out any criminal offence.
