There’s a new millionaire in the Shuswap.

If you bought a ticket, it’s time to check those numbers. A lucky ticketholder in the Shuswap has won $1 million.

The numbers for the BCLC Lotto Max have been announced, and though no one got the big prize, someone in the Shuswap just became a millionaire. One of the winning tickets for the $1 million Maxmillions prizes was bought in the Shuswap.

There are three other lucky people in B.C. this weekend, as three tickets in the province won the Extra prize worth $500,000. The three winners are from Okanagan–Vernon, Columbia River–Revelstoke, and Ladysmith.
