A suspicious vehicle fire at Bart’s Muffler is under investigation by the Salmon Arm Fire Department and the RCMP. Fire Chief Brad Shirley says firefighters were dispatched to the parking lot at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4. Hall 3 crews quickly knocked down the fire. Given the time of day and the fact the pickup truck has not been operated for some time, the fire was deemed suspicious in nature, said Shirley.
