Picturesque: One of the top three People’s Choice photos from the 2016 Salmon Arm Fall Fair was Victoria Rowbottom’s In To Storyland.

The Salmon Arm Fair’s People’s Choice and other winners for the Photography Division have been selected.

The people viewing the photography exhibit at the Salmon Arm Fair have expressed their opinion and chosen their favourite top 10 photos from the 380 submitted this year, by more than 130 photographers.

The first place winner, for the third year in a row, is Victoria Rowbottom, for her photo, Ginger Maiden.

Rowbottom has a magic touch for her views with a lens since she also took second place with In to Storyland.

In third place was Riley Paetsch for Autumn Through a Birch capture.

This third place finish is particularly important sine his entry was in the under-14 class.

The Kyllo family continued to show their special photographic interest with Myrtle Kyllo and Richard Kyllo taking fourth, fifth and sixth.

Three official judges chose the ribbon winners and the Best of Show and Special Prize recipients.

Many thanks to Pharmasave, Clive Bryson, The Shuswap Arts Council, Salmon Arm Observer and the Shuswap Photo Arts Club who awarded prices for these categories:

• Ages 14 and under, Best of Show, winner is Kierra Bubola.

• New Competitor category, the Best of Show: Seibel Kayleigh.

• Intermediate Competitors, the Best of Show: Jette Russel.

• The Experienced Competitor: Victoria Rowbottom.

• Best of Show for Black and Whites: Donna Davies.

• Best of Show All Levels: Victoria Rowbottom.

• Open Shuswap class: Richard Kyllo

• The Tranquillity of Sunrise, Sunset, Moonlight and Reflections: Myrtle Kyllo.
