Tow truck crashes into Centenoka Park Mall

A large tow truck towing a semi truck crashed into the outside wall of Centenoka Park Mall at around noon on Sunday Dec. 4.

According to the Salmon Arm RCMP witnesses on the scene said the truck hit the building twice.

The truck left a large hole in the wall in the former Safeway location, which is currently vacant.

The incident resulted in approximately $30,000 in damage to the truck and the building. BC Ambulance Service crews were on scene but no one was injured in the incident.

The driver of the tow truck was served a violation ticket under the motor vehicle act.
